We read about one man’s journey across Europe and into Asia using a solar bike as a part of “The Sun-Trip”.The Sun-Trip is a semiannual solar powered electric bike race that takes place over incredibly long distances. We also came across Veemo a fleet of electrically assisted bikes that use solar panels as a means of Trickle Charging it’s battery. These are made in a company based In Vancouver who hope to make Veemo a core part of urban travel, similar to the services like Scoot, a Moped sharing system.
